Chairman of the fishing club “BLUEHUNTER.” As ZENAQ field staff and a BlueBlue tester, he has spent more than 30 years at the very forefront of offshore casting — one of Japan's foremost bluefin-tuna anglers.
From the Tsugaru Strait, Genkai-nada, Kumano-nada and Sagami Bay — Japan's premier big-game grounds — to voyages as far as France in pursuit of monster tuna. Known for a gentle spirit that never loses its smile even on the harshest seas, he is admired by anglers everywhere.
That exceptional experience and eye are poured into ISOLABLEU's product development, too. He guides the making of gear that truly performs in the field — even naming the new BALSAM 185 the “ICBM” — supporting the brand's craft at its very core.

BALSAM's "all-unit buoyancy guarantee" was also born from his guidance. Balsa is wonderfully buoyant, yet each piece of wood varies so much in balance that it was long said to be unsuited to large lures. Kinoshita's answer: float-test every single finished lure in water — securing reliable buoyancy on every unit and opening the path to production.
Lure action, strength, hook setting — he guides, from the field, what truly makes gear that performs in real battles. He is the one who named the new BALSAM 185 the “ICBM.”
